Liverpool target Barcola amid PSG’s reported asking price

Barcola’s Transfer Situation

Paris St-Germain is reportedly seeking a substantial fee for France forward Bradley Barcola. Reports indicate that Liverpool is working to reach an agreement with the French club for the 23-year-old. Barcola is said to be open to joining Liverpool and has indicated he does not wish to sign a new contract with his current club.

Barcola still has two years remaining on his current deal with Paris St-Germain, but the club is considering his sale. Liverpool has maintained a long-standing interest in the winger, viewing him as a suitable fit for Andoni Iraola’s playing style, especially following the departure of Mohamed Salah.

The reported asking price for Barcola is a significant figure, which Paris St-Germain believes reflects his valuation based on his age, potential, and current market conditions. However, Liverpool is expected to seek a negotiation to reach a compromise on this figure. While Arsenal and Bayern Munich also retain interest, and Chelsea made enquiries earlier in the summer, Barcola is reportedly keen to discuss a potential move to Liverpool if a deal can be finalised with Paris St-Germain.

Other Transfer Speculations

In other transfer news, Real Madrid has reportedly set a price for Brazil forward Vinicius Jr. Arsenal has not initiated talks for the 26-year-old, but reports suggest they would be prepared to offer him the largest contract in the club’s history. However, Vinicius’ priority is to sign a new deal at Real Madrid, where he has one year left on his current contract.

Arsenal is also expected to accelerate discussions regarding the signing of Newcastle’s 28-year-old Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. Guimaraes has reportedly informed his representatives that he wants his future resolved within the next week, prior to rejoining Newcastle’s pre-season training camp.

Tottenham is considered a frontrunner to sign 22-year-old Brazil winger Savinho from Manchester City. Meanwhile, Real Madrid has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with RB Leipzig’s 19-year-old Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande. Paris St-Germain had also been pursuing Diomande, a move that would have potentially impacted Barcola’s position within the squad.

Elsewhere, Al-Hilal has opened discussions about signing 26-year-old Senegal winger Iliman Ndiaye from Everton. Chelsea is expected to demand a significant fee for 26-year-old Portugal winger Pedro Neto, with interest coming from Liverpool, Manchester City, and teams in Saudi Arabia.

Besiktas is awaiting a decision from 34-year-old Egypt forward Mohamed Salah after submitting their final offer. Salah is currently a free agent after his departure from Liverpool. Bournemouth is reportedly not looking to sell 20-year-old French striker Junior Kroupi, despite interest from Barcelona.

Fulham is considered the primary option for 18-year-old Argentina midfielder Franco Mastantuono if Real Madrid decides to send him on loan next season. Additionally, Juventus is working on a deal to sign 25-year-old Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United. Portugal midfielder Joao Palhinha, 31, reportedly wishes to compete for his place at Bayern Munich, though the club is looking to sell him.

Barcola is currently enjoying time off after his participation with France in their run to the 2026 World Cup semi-finals.
